On the occasion of National Science Day, Bhagwat Prasad Memorial Academy (BPMA) hosted a landmark and inspiring event featuring Dr. Ashok Prajapati, Senior Scientist and Program Manager at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, as the Chief Guest.
A proud native of Tindwari, Banda, Dr. Prajapati—recipient of five prestigious NASA awards in 2025—returned to his roots to inspire young minds and spark a passion for space science and innovation.
Presiding over the ceremony, Ankit Kushwaha of BPMA remarked:

In his keynote address, Dr. Prajapati elaborated on the Core Flight System (cFS), the foundational software architecture powering over 40 NASA missions, including the Artemis Program.
Encouraging students to explore Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and advanced space technologies, he stated:
“Science recognizes no geographical boundaries. A curious mind from Banda can reach the stars just as effortlessly as one from Washington.”
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Program Coordinator Kavita Verma, marking the celebration as a milestone in Banda’s educational landscape.
